Specimen Packaging Configuration

A 25-cell cryobox should contain samples from 3 participant visits. Each participant visit will have up to 4 x Plasma Aliquots and 1 x Buffy Coat Aliquot. This means there should be 12-15 samples per cryobox (9-12 x plasma aliquots and 3 x buffy coat aliquots). An individual participant's samples should be placed in a single row. An empty row should separate each participant's samples from another participant's samples. Plasma samples should be placed to the left, with the buffy coat sample immediately to the right of the last plasma sample. Up to 8 cryoboxes can be put in each shipper.

Kit Request Module

Please follow the below link to access the Kit Request Module. This link will direct you to a REDCap database where study coordinators and staff may request kits, individual supplies, and/or labels. Study related sites will use the same link for ordering supplies related to blood-based samples and for CSF. Please allow a total of two weeks for kit requests to be compiled and delivered to your site.
